Visit Bonnyvale

Just four miles from Downtown Brattleboro, but a world away…

Open every day from dawn to dusk, Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC) is our community’s nature sanctuary. We invite you to take a break from everything and reconnect with the natural world by walking our trails.

BEEC also offers a wide-range of opportunities to explore and learn more about local ecology through our community and youth programs, exciting annual events, and community science projects. Check our event calendar to get involved!

Hit the Trails

Bonnyvale has a 3 mile network of trails through open and forested land that’s open to the public during daylight hours. Our trails feature some very large, old sugar maples, an abundance of spring ephemeral wildflowers, and a sweeping view from Heifer Hill. There’s something to see in every season, so come take it all in!
