Ralph Waldo Emerson

First Sunday of every month

Each hike explores one of the special natural areas of our region. These hikes usually take about two hours. Please read each description to be sure the outing is appropriate for your ability level. In case of questions about either the conditions or the weather, call the leader. See you in the woods!

Sunday, August 3 – Dummerston Town Trail

Meet at the West Dummerston Covered Bridge at 9 a.m.
Leader: Mary Ellen Copeland at 257-5843.

Sunday, September 7 –Pisgah Mountain
One of the prettiest trails in the region, this hike passes beaver ponds and Kilburn Pond to arrive at scenic vistas from the summit of Pisgah Mountain.
Meet at the shopping plaza east of the Connecticut River, just across the Route 9 bridge at 9 a.m.
Leader: Agnes Sebille, 257-0510
