Nature Explorers Spring Camp is for the young person who enjoys the natural world.  Our goal is to foster children’s love of nature in a fun, safe, supportive, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Monday – Earth Day
Come join us in celebration of Earth Day, with a focus on nature art.  We will learn about the history of the day and make arts and crafts with, from and for the earth.

Tuesday – Vernal Pool Party
Come investigate the wonderful world of vernal pools and the mysteries of metamorphosis.  We will visit the giant puddle that appears each spring in our forest and meet the fascinating critters who use them.

Wednesday – Homing Birds
What are birds are doing in springtime?  Come learn and observe, taking a closer look through binoculars and magiscopes.  We will engage in play and activities that mimic springtime bird behaviors, from migration to the language of birds.

Thursday – Forest Fantasies waitlist
Let your imagination and creativity take over as we see the forest for not as it is but as it could be.  Join us as we build fairy and gnome homes, read magical stories, and create enchanted games all while searching for the magic in the forest.

Friday – Spring Surprise
To wrap up the week, join us for a fun day of exploration and play guided by the offerings of nature and the interests of the group.  We will search for signs of spring, from bursting buds to marvelous mud.
