Conflicts with raccoons take a several forms: raiding trashcans or chicken coops, or denning and making messes under or inside buildings. All of these tasks are made simple by their high level of dexterity. To avoid conflicts, you will need to use indestructible materials (hardware cloth rather than chicken wire), hardware that can’t be pulled out (screws rather than staples), and latches that have at least two steps to open them.
